BLACK WOMEN ROCK

Image
Life is like a box of crayons. The soul becomes dyed with the color of its thoughts. “Without black, no color has any depth. Life is like a rainbow. Color is a power which directly influences the soul. I prefer living in color. Color is my day-long obsession, joy and torment. @ditomaticfotografy shot it Muse: @_kyeermun Makeup by: @makeupbyfellyton #yankari #africa  #bauchi ##melaniatrump #models #beautyshoot #retouch #model #africanbeauty #vogue #flawless  #beauty #simple #model #beautyphotography  #beauty #shoot  #light #portrait #colour #bald #melanin  #Africanbeauty #beautiful  #beauty #portrait #africansweetheartweddings  #makeupbyfellyton  #Nigerian #black  #world  #jos #city #jtown

OLD SCHOOL IS THE NEW SCHOOL

Image
Many old fashionistas would say the 60s and 70s were the golden age of fashion in Nigeria. But was it? Modern day fashionable men and “baes” will probably find it hard to agree to this. The argument for the 60s/70s fashion trends may find a valid point in the fact that many modern fashion enthusiasts try to reinvent themselves with a regular throwback to the old times in a trend now called “Old Skool”. MELANIN

Image
They say most men are not attracted to bald women. I say most men lie. #Women's liberation will not be achieved until a woman can become paunchy and bald and still think that she's attractive to the opposite sex. A baldacious woman isn't necessarily eccentric, but she certainly is exceptional. Babe, you are not 'bald and beautiful,' but beautiful and bald. In other words, you are not beautiful despite being bald, but a beautiful  woman who just happens to be bald. You make the look -- the look does not make you. Bald is the new black, bald is the new bold, This look is dedicated to all those with cancer all over the world. AFRICA

Image
Wearing African clothing is a wonderful way for many to celebrate their culture and their heritage and to commemorate the beauty of the motherland. Wearing  African clothing  means so much more to many people than simply being a fashion statement. Tailors don’t make clothes simply for appearance sake; each symbol, color, and even the shape of the clothing can have a very specific purpose or meaning. African clothing can be a symbol of status, creativity and allegiance to tribal roots.

THE FULANI WOMRN ATTIRE

Image
Fulani people or Fula people as they are also called elsewhere are an ethnic group that amounts to more than twenty million people. They live in countries in West Africa including states like Mali, Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan, Chad, Guinea, etc. This is a typical example of a Nigerian Fulani tribe clothing In this region, men and women who belong to this ethnic group have several other characteristics about their clothes which make them unique and outstanding. For instance, here women wear more head-dresses than in other regions. The thing is that they like to decorate themselves with beads and other accessories depending on their wealth and family traditions. 📷: super talented @photographt_by_amin 💄: @makeupbyfellyton muse: Ringnan Rachael Yarling outfit by: @oteebeads #beautyshoot  #africanbeauty #vogue #flawless  #africa #beauty #simple #model #beautyphotography  #beauty #shoot #retouch #light #portrait #colour #portraitfestival #canvas  #Africanbeauty #beautifu...

Ngas or Angas Female Warrior Attire

Image
Ngas, or Angas, is an Afro-Asiatic language spoken in Plateau State, Nigeria. Dialects are Hill Angas and Plain Angas. Ngas people are found mainly in the state of Plateau in central Nigeria. This is an attire of a typical Ngas female warrior ready for #war. Everything she wears on her body is of significant value.  I was inspired to work on this idea to give life to my culture. Proudly #Ngas. Promoting my culture. Promote every culture today.
